Rate My Build (AVA Direct) - Day Trading Rig
Intended use is for day trading. I will be running 2 brokerages, charting software (4-6 windows), real-time scanning software, Discord, Slack, and a handful of tabs on my browser (including a couple running live streams). I am running 6 27" monitors, 1080p @ 60.
Am I over/under-engineering? I think the processor may be a click or two above necessary, and indications are you could get away with 32GB RAM, but I didn't want to end up short. I pull a large chunk of data from Polygon.io which I use for backtesting, so I am comfortable with 2TB over 1TB SSD.
I am mostly asking because I know F-all about technical specifications of computers, and came to this with about 15 minutes of chatting with ChatGPT.
