Intel Degradation Help

So I’m making this post for a friend that has one of the Intel CPUs that were faulty. He’s been having issues and has done all the bios fixes and etc to help but it’s getting to the point now where he is crashing all the time. From what i’ve seen people say to replace the MOBO/CPU/Ram is there anything else and is there a good chance replacing just the CPU and Ram could solve it? He’s would like to fix the issue on his own so just replacing those 2 would be easiest.
