Client not allowing photos used for my marketing, even after discount.

I quoted a client $2,900 for a wedding shoot. They replied that they had a budget for $2,000 and I agreed stating that I wanted to shoot at their venue as it would be a critical asset to my portfolio. I sent the contract where it states images would be used for marketing on my website and social media. So, I just got an email from them saying they do not want the photos used for any of my marketing [website, social media] that show their faces or those of guests and with their approval. Thought
