Mirena removal after 4 years

I got mine removed on 8/25/25. There wasn’t much pain with it being removed, but it took longer than normal because apparently it was really hard for her to see my strings. I had previously gotten them trimmed because they were apparently stabbing my husband. Anyway, right after the removal I instantly felt lighter. I don’t even know how to explain it. It almost felt like my uterus lifted up or something. Two days after it was as if nothing was going on and then on the 28th, I started bleeding as if I was having some type of a miscarriage. I never produced so much blood in my life. I was even starting to feel lightheaded. I would say it was about two days consecutively of the most heaviest bleeding ever. I passed about Four blood clots that were the size of the palm of my hand almost. It’s got lighter after the third day and here I am on September 4 and there it’s all done. The bleeding stopped and I will never get an IUD again.
