Cameras at entry

I know the camera rules at entry, but I’ve never gone in with a camera before other than my cell.

What’s the story at security, are they pulling out a tape measure or are they just eyeballing it? Asking bc my camera with its lens is like 3-point-if-you-look-the-wrong-way-0.1 inches.

If they’re eyeballing I doubt I’ll have an issue. It’s a small camera. But if they’re out there with a measuring stick, a stickler might have me running to the bag check (I’ll build in time for it). Any recent experiences to share?
