How much of a genuine chance do i have to get in?
I want to apply for the classical archaeology and ancient history degree but im just super worried i have genuinely got fuck all chance of getting in and should just not switch down route? Im taking a level 3 BTEC in animation and VFX and doing an alevel in classical civilisation sep online so i dont have a predicted grade for it (mostly cause i cant afford to take the other exams privately to get a predicted grade only the final ones plus not that confident atm). Edinburgh is kinda my dream university and its just got a great near east dept, great location (far from fam close to friends), great architecture (yes thats a factor) and its just a pretty good uni but ik (now not when i bloody picked it) that ive been done over doing a BTEC let alone in a completely different subject, do i genuinely have a chance of getting in (and how would i boost my application) or should i just apply for all animation courses instead. ancient history is genuinely my passion and if i dont do this now ill probably not get a chance to pick it up again unlike with animation and im kinda terrified rn lol, all advice appreciated.
