December bikepacking in Vietnam

Hi all,

I’m headed to Vietnam this winter to bikepack from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min City. I’ve been bikepacking for years now and just wanted to know if there are any considerations or must knows for Vietnam, specifically, that I should be aware of.

For context, the plan is to bike through the mountains and stay off the busy coastal route.
