epic/lyric help

hi i’m not sure how reddit works im only using it for soundmap atm for tips and tricks. i’ve been on it a few months now and i finished the normal discographies for all my favorite artists so i have nothing left to quest except for shiny quests. im getting my favorites as shinys pretty easily but im having a hard time with epics and lyrics. i deleted 2 songs from my favorite band yesterday and then re-quested and ended up with lyrics but is that the only way to pull them? do i have to continuously delete a song and re-quest until i get lucky? will you get better luck trying for an artist you dont have any shinys for? after i pulled the lyrics i spent a bunch of coins on a cheap drop for 250-500 songs cause i thought that’s what cooldown meant but now im not sure. i don’t want the game to get boring for me but im also not interested in questing the popular artists to sell (the epics i want are not for sale or very popular) any tips appreciated ty :-)
