Question for older fictionkin

To any fictionkins that are job/College age, have any of your kins affected what job/career you want/have?

I kin Julia Williams from The Tangi Virus, and it made me realize that I want to be an epidemiologist (someone who does research on diseases and parasites), I'm even taking classes for it. I'm wondering if anyone else is the same?
