Contrary to my wishes

The Pokémon company has begun teasing the next Mega Evolution, personally one I've been looking forward to since the leaks. Mega Malamar. Which is my all time favorite and I've gotten rather good at using it since there's so much strategy Contrary and Topsy Turvy bring to the field and I love the design and typing. But it just occured to me that Legends ZA won't have Abilities, Contrary is now void and the removal of Abilities was actually the only reason I didn't get Legends Arceus since I love the extra depth they bring. (I love Kalos I'm still getting ZA even if Abilities aren't present)

I was curious as to how other people in the community felt about this now being a staple in Legends games and if this negatively or positively impacts how people view the new title or even Legends Arceus.
