What would you do if you had a friend who kept passing you the responsibility to confront others, but refused to do it herself?

Here’s the situation: Our friend (F2) is dating someone I don’t like. My intention, if I ever bring it up, is simple — I just want to tell F2 my personal boundary (that I’d rather not hang out if he’s around). I don’t plan on involving the group or revealing the things she confided to our friend (F1).

But F1, who actually holds all the sensitive details, is inconsistent. With me, she says she dislikes the guy too, but with others she leaves her name out. Then after an event where F2 brought her boyfriend, F1 pushed that “they should break up” and that we should all confront her — but she refuses to be the one to do it.

It made me realize this isn’t the first time she’s done this. She gathers “intel,” complains to us, then washes her hands clean and tells others to act. Meanwhile, my approach has always been to own only my part and not meddle beyond that.

So my question is: How would you handle a friend like this, who keeps dodging responsibility but pressures others to take it on?
