Ones Who Help Us Grow - For all teachers on Teacher's Day (in India)

Many children are born in this world,

But not all are given chances they deserve.

The world criticizes their power,

Not seeing their suffering and calling them coward.

Though one person does grant them a chance,

A teacher who helps them to rise above and enhance.

They don't care for any teasing by others,

All they want is to help the little ones flutter.

And everyone knows the importance of knowledge,

But forget that teachers are the ones that endow it.

They do provide more than only education,

They also help the children grow their compassion.

And they might get angry sometimes,

For it is a way to improve the children's might.

So do remember that a teacher is one to be hugged

To be cherished and to always be loved.
