What was Gus's plan with Hank, seriously?

In crawl space, Gus says to Walt that he plans to kill Hank and if Walt interferes he will kill his entire family. Hank was the only guy that was taking the Los Pollos Hermanos investigation seriously. If he died suddenly, that would immediately bring suspicion onto Gus. Is he stupid? I suppose since maybe he finally killed Don Eladio he stopped caring somewhat but this is a seriously stupid plan from him
