Chilled Chinese guy back in China in Sept, if you need a local travel buddies or wanna try the 'vibe guiding' lol

Hey everyone,

I’m a 29-year-old Chinese guy, been living in UK for the past five years, mainly doing cultural/art-related things, that means I have extensive cross-cultural knowledge of history, art, religion or politic things, and I can help you quickly understand Chinese culture with a Western mindset.. My English is near-native, and I’d say I’m a pretty chilled person.

I’ll be back in China around Next week(Sept 8th-15th) for family visits + a short holiday (expected to be in China for one to two months).. My rough plan is:

• Beijing
• Shanxi (Buddhist heritage sites + some Black Myth: Wukong filming spots, if you’re into the game)
• Then heading south, maybe Huizhou, to find a cheap beach and just relax.

Here’s the thing: most of my local friends are busy working now, so they can’t really travel with me. I thought I’d ask here, anyone interested in joining?

What I can offer:

• I’m not a professional guide, but I know Chinese history/culture well enough to make it fun. Think of me more as a “vibe guide”, chill, flexible, happy to share stories.
• If you want a structured experience, we can discuss a small fee.
• Or if we just click, we can travel together, split our own costs, I’ll help sort out practical stuff, and maybe at the end you just tip me symbolically… or we just stay friends.

Main goal: to meet more people, share some adventures, and enjoy the journey together. Identity is verifiable, so no worries on that front.
