Is my baby the only baby that doesn't sleep at night?

Okay, I understand the title may sound silly, so please don't take it fully literally. I know my baby isn't the only baby that doesn't sleep at night, but sometimes, when me and my Wife are in the thick of it, it really feels as though we're the only people getting it this bad!

I'm a new Dad to a wonderful baby boy who is just shy of 6 months old now. A good night for us is usually a wake up every 3 hours (roughly), but he hardly ever does this!

The most he ever slept in one go was 6 hours. He done that one time at around 2 months old, then never again!

Recently he has been waking up every 30mins to 1 hour, sometimes cries, sometimes doesn't, sometimes has a long wake up and sometimes goes straight back to sleep.

I'm not necessarily looking for advice on what to do, I just want to know I'm not alone!
