Gallbladder surgery Sunday!
I’m having my gallbladder removed Sunday !! I’m post partum (baby is 4 months old) and I’ve been suffering with attacks since she was born (and probably before becoming pregnant!) Was told for months it was reflux and was eating the complete wrong diet and then following a scan to show I had gallstones, still told it was reflux. I was admitted to hospital after my most recent attack over concerns of gallstone pancreatitis and it turned out that’s exactly what it was 🫠. Anyway that was a month ago and I am so happy to be having surgery on Sunday.
Any tips post surgery? I’ve been advised by a doctor I work with on multivitamins to take and some other meds to help prevent sepsis and infections post op by the brand Cytoplan - if anyone has heard of it?
Mostly I cannot wait to have a cup of coffee - mum life needs coffee and I have completely cut it out because it can stimulate the gallbladder. Who knew! 😩.
Any tips welcome and I’m based in the UK 💕
