New layout destroyed youtube for me

First off playlist no longer work as when i click on a playlist to play it, the video plays but no playlist pops up on the side like it use to so i could see what was next and skip or select what video i wanted next, now you have to go way back to the playlist itself and select. Second the lay out is ugly with big previews and too many shorts and comments are under other videos. Without my playlists i see no reason to keep using youtube as i use some playlist for walkthroughs when trying to beat games and unlock everything. None of the extensions and tambermonkey stuff works, on Brave browser.
