So after about 2 months of using these, i finally decided to make a quick review as i've always been a one brand only user, but Top Boxer really impressed me.

I've been training for 14 years, and about 10 only using Cletos every day for all purposes until about a year or two ago when i bought a pair of bag gloves. These Cletos are already over 4 years old and they served me well, but it was time to buy a new pair and thought about trying other brands.

Finally decided to buy a pair of custom Aliens, and i gotta say i loved them from the first time i threw my first punches. The process was quick, but there were some slight delays and an embroidery error on the gloves. They sent me the bad pair and another one free of charge.

My first impressions when i tried them out of the box was a bit frightening as i like my gloves tight, and the thumb placement was something i wasn't used to. Coach said they are a "wrap glove", and sure enough, everything changed when i put them with my wraps on.

They feel tight and quite light compared to my Cletos, i can throw my punches so quick i almost feel like i'm wearing nothing. The padding is definitely on the firm side as i wanted. Not too stiff but not too soft either, they have an awesome feeling all around. They are also just a tiny bit shorter than the Cletos but as i said, they're tight and i can close my hand better. Doesn't matter how i hit the bag, both my wrist and fist will stay in place.

The liner is very, very soft and comfortable, no wrinkles anywhere inside the glove and it doesn't smell at least for now. What impressed me the most about the glove and all the comments i've been getting about it is the stitching. As far as i can see all the stitching lines are perfect and none of them have broken. The quality of the leather seems to be very good and i like the feeling of it, but it's definitely not the same as the Cletos.

One thing i didn't like tho is the velcro strap. While it's very strong and will grab your arm like a hydraulic press, it doesn't have that little extra leather on the outside, so the end is flat, not round, which makes it quite a hassle to take them off.

But in general i think it's a great glove and i absolutely love it. Since i'm retiring my Cletos i'll buy another pair from a different brand and rotate them along with my bag gloves so they can have a longer lifespan.

Anything i could've missed or any questions please ask!
