Harrasment at work grievance partially upheld

My grievance was resolved today. I experience homophobic abuse from a colleague everyday for over a year.

The investigation ended and the employee who was subjecting me to this has been re instated. I made it very clear in my grievance that I did not feel safe at work

They have partially upheld it on the basis that some witnesses have said it was banter. I was often called lesbian, lesbian and scissor sister.

I now feel uncomfortable to go into work and have said I don’t want to go today as I want to appeal the grievance which my employer were happy about.

Should i ask for and negotiate a financial exit package with my employer at this stage or just head straight to ACAS?
