How are these guys wake up every morning and just.. be this way?

It does sound like a joke (wow who would have thought they should just flip the switch by now) but it does leave me wondering, how do these guys keep going everyday with relatively the same mindset with little to no adjusting or figuring what to fix? Because this team sure does not put up a fight or show urgency (I know, its "baseball"), and really is the worst I seen this team in a long time. It leaves me with, what is the point if Yamamoto or any starters would pitch 7 or 8 scoreless innings if these guys can't score more than 3 runs to save their lives. On top with sloppy defense, VERY awful at bats.
