What would you say is defined as porn “addiction”?

I used my boyfriend’s phone recently (with his permission) and it was FULL of porn. I’m not bothered about him watching it and never have been. I was using his instagram to show him this account that had blocked me, and noticed the accounts on his search were all only fans girls. I asked him if he uses all his social media to watch that sort of stuff and he said yes. Instagram, twitter, Reddit was literally all porn (I was astounded at how many videos are readily available here on Reddit!). He’d also screen recorded some and saved them to his files on his phone. As mentioned before, I don’t have a problem with him watching porn, but it seemed excessive. I asked him if he thinks he may have a problem, and he wasn’t sure. Couldn’t give me a yes or no. He says he watches it when he goes to bed on his own (he works different shifts so does often sleep while I’m at work). He reckons it’s out of habit or boredom, but he probably watches it everyday. He doesn’t feel the need to rush home and watch it, or watch elsewhere etc, but it is every single day. What’s your idea of porn being an addiction?
