Found 8-12 week kitty stuck in my tree twice. Now I don’t know what to do.

Orange boy cat, if I had to guess 8-12 weeks old. Still a little clumsy and growing into his bigger paws. Very affectionate.

He is not neutered from what I can see, no collar and is going up to doors near by and meowing incredibly loud. Seems lost and looking for his mom or owners.

I gave him access to water and food. Then left, when I came back later last night… he was stuck in another tree in my yard and meowing loud in distress.

I’m not sure if I should just let him roam now that it’s daylight and let him try to find his mom/home, take him to a vet to check for microchip and post some “found cat” signs around the neighborhood? Thinking of just knocking my neighbors doors as well.
