Riding in rain, what's your take?
This is a question for the commuters, not necessarily for the trail riders or speed demons.
I have an InMotion V11Y (65lbs/30kg), only a couple months old, and I was thinking about joyriding around the neighborhood this morning. Then rain kicked in. Nothing like a downpour, it was a mix of drizzle and sprinkle. I know a good tread on a bicycle or motorcycle keeps that kind of fear of slipping at bay, but I've never ridden on wet terrain before with an EUC.
Whats your take? I'm thinking I can try it out riding slow, but does rain make you think, nah, I need the skin on my foreararms, let the clouds pass?
You can probably tell I'm still a beginner. I have enough miles to where wobbles don't freak me out and I can stop them, I know how to apply turning at near-zero speeds, slow speeds, and above 20mph speeds, but a change in terrain makes me want to be a kittle more cautious.
