priest acts strangely around me

So there’s this priest in my community… let’s call him Guy. He’s married, has a kid, in his late 20s. I used to be his student, and now I’m active in the church, so we see each other a lot. I’ve known him for like 2 years 😅

Since the start of 2024, I’ve noticed… stuff. He says my name really softly, avoids looking me in the eye while keeping it with everyone else, his voice sometimes deepens, and he acts way more friendly than usual. But it’s not just that… Sometimes he seems shy or awkward like he’s trying to hide something. Other times, he acts like he’s unbothered or even wants to show off. And then there are moments when he sees me and literally brightens up, like his energy totally changes

It honestly feels like he’s struggling with something inside… caught between his role, his family, and whatever he might feel toward me. I don’t know if I’m imagining it. There have been a few moments between us that made me question everything… and not gonna lie, at some point I realized I had feelings for him too in 2024 november, but they are thankfully kind of gone :')

I want to be clear… I don’t have anything against him. He’s genuinely nice, really easy to be around. But he’s mysterious as hell and it confuses me a lot

I just… don’t know what to do. I don’t want to misread him, but it’s impossible not to notice. Has anyone else ever been singled out by someone in authority like this? How do you even deal with it without causing drama… especially when they’re married and you’re part of the same community I just needed to tell this to someone
