miscarriage happening before abortion…

i am 7 weeks pregnant today. my appt with my OB for an ultrasound & MA was scheduled for this wednesday 9.10. but yesterday i started having some light pink spotting after i used the bathroom. didn’t think much of it because i thought maybe it was from straining (been super constipated sorry TMI). it didn’t happen again so i shrugged it off.

today, same thing happened. except after the j initial spotting, its getting heavier & i am having contraction type pains which urge me to use the bathroom, where more bleeding happens. so far there are no clots. but i am getting intense cramps. the worst part is, i am in the middle of a family function right now and not sure how to deal with this all in the middle of it. i am typing this from the bathroom. shaking with nerves.

my question is, is this ER worthy? or is it safe to just wait until my appointment on Wednesday? i have never had a miscarriage. i have had 2 live births and one MA…but never miscarried. so i dont know how to handle it or what to do procedure wise. i am going to calll my OB obviously but its going to have to wait a few hours till im done with this family event. i’m posting here in the meantime so i can get some advice discreetly. TIA. i’m feeling really emotional and overwhelmed by this all, and even sad in a way even though i wasn’t planning on keeping the pregnancy.
