Oxygen bleach or hot wash to preserve colors?

Hi!

For some garments a warm 40C/105F with liquid color detergent doesn't get the clothes perfectly clean and fresh. Assuming the garments are dark colored cotton, what will preserve the fabric and colors better over time - detergent containing oxygen bleach in every load or increasing the temp to 60C/140F?
