The "history" of cannabis

People have believed that the Hemp plant produces cannabis, a psychoactive drug as far back as ancient times. But why? I have 3 theories:

1. Someone smeared LSD or MDMA onto a leaf as a prank, and called the result cannabis. This method is still in common use by drug dealers.

2. Somebody was influenced by an alien mind ray and thought that the colours they saw were caused by the hemp rope they were carrying. This can still happen as shown by this video, so be prepared.

3. Cannabis was invented by the Beatles to explain why they had LSD hidden between banknotes, which were misinterpreted as leaves, which were then misinterpreted as being able to make you high. This is by far the most likely explanation.

So there you have it, an explanation of why people think cannabis exists. So when your friend says they got stoned once, they're a payed actor, dont believe them.
