[M4F] Exploring A Swinger’s Campground
I’ve always loved nature. Since way back, the best way for me to clear my head and get my thoughts in a row was to go outside and lose myself for a while.
As life got bigger and more difficult to navigate, I sort of stopped being able to get out as much as I would like. I could manage a hike here or a quick drive there, but I couldn’t ever really immerse myself in things the way I wanted to, and it showed. I could feel the stress bubbling up in me, the pressure building until one day, it popped.
I couldn’t take it anymore. Every day was the same. Same boring job, same boring coworkers, same boring meals, same boring… me.
I quit my job. Walked out with a box of my crap from my desk and headed for home.
I’m not an idiot, of course. I have savings, plenty of backup funds to get me through some self discovery time. But I knew right away what I needed. I had to spend some time outdoors. I did a little googling and found a campground that seemed perfect. It was on the bluffs above a beach in Southern California, the waves and sunshine would surely wash away whatever ailed me. I put in for a campsite for a month. A whole four weeks away from ‘reality’.
And it was perfect. I knew right away, as soon as I pulled my car into the little concrete parking spot that I was going to have a great time. The people around me seemed friendly, giving me warm welcomes and friendly waves as I took my first stroll around my temporary home.
I noticed something, though. A lot of neighbors seemed to have a similar decoration hanging at the front of their campground. A little solar powered light on a stake like one might find decorating a garden or lining a path. It didn’t seem like much at first, but I’d quickly learn that all those little pineapples meant something quite important to the campsite… and would come to mean something special to me as well.
(Looking for a partner to RP/GM my time exploring a swinger’s camp that I accidentally booked. Happy to chat details and see where we want things to go. Definitely want this to be a wholesome hornet of self discovery through plenty of fun situations!)
