How could I improve my connection?

Every year I feel that my gameplay is delayed. I don't know why. I have ethernet cable from router to my Playstation 5 and my ping in game is around 12 ms. But it feels like it is 1000 ms.

I have an Asus router and run cloudflare dns.

My internet is 250/100 fibre.

Any suggestions?
