Posting to give hope but also for people to stop stressing about symptoms.

I started having pelvic pain, back pain, urgency to pee, vaginal and anal irritation and burning , pain when peeing after a sexual intercourse. I tested for everything and all came back negative until I found this forum and decided to ask my gyno to test for UP. Of course she didn’t understand why I wanted that.. anyway. Comes back positive. Prescribed doxycycline for 7 days. And I had 1g of azythro at home so I take it. Symptoms gone but I don’t take a cure test . I abstain from sex 1.5 years. My first intercourse later my symptoms come back in full swing. I was sure my treatment failed. My test comes back negative. My symptoms would back again for few more weeks. I test again and still negative. I go see another gyno and she said that all my symptoms are related to not having enough vaginal lubrication. I am 45 so things are different for our age, in addition to some pelvic dysfunction and tense muscles from having babies and working out ( I hip thrust at the gym big weights)

Now I make sure to lubricate very well, and I do a lot of breathing exercises daily to release pelvic tension.

My only biggest issue that the insurance refused to cover my up test because they are “experimental and unnecessary” that cost me a lot.
