Are heels and jeans fine for casual Fridays at the office?

I know that people are dressing down more, and we still have casual Fridays. I sometimes wear nice jeans and some flats on this day. Is it appropriate for me to wear boots with jeans in the fall on this day? Should my boots be for other days when it is less casual? Thanks.
