What do you do if kicked out in the middle of the night?

Say it’s a cold winter night and you’re under the covers, only to be woken up by whoever you’re living with and told to get the fuck out of the house, no ifs, no buts, and your phone’s dead. What do you genuinely do on a pitch-black night to avoid being assaulted or worse?
