ICC profile question

I recently found out that my display is an CMN1521 and was looking into ICC profiles calibrated for that display. Now my question is, would any ICC profile made for a CMN1521 display work or only one specified for an ASUS laptop? I asked because the matching profile I found was from an HP laptop.
