New builds in Bandon

My wife and I went to view the show house for the Cul na Greine new builds in Bandon last Friday. The location works for us, walkable to town and Bandon is halfway between Cork City and where my parents live.

A few things the estate agent mentioned has me concerned. He said that the builder isn’t open to customisations which means that a standard kitchen would go in, we wouldn’t be allowed add extra sockets and we’d have to change it again after the house is handed over.

Just wondering from anyone who has bought into the estate already if this is indeed the case? It just feels like an awful pain to have to go back in ripping walls apart, replastering and repainting when it could be done right first time

Also wondering about the quality of the builds in general. Are they fairly soundproof?
