What’s your best advice for talking to a guy?

I (15f) has a crush on a guy in my theater class (17m). So recently i have started to like thus guy but he is two years older than me, he has a very puppy like personality and is friendly with everyone. The problem is that he is very, very attractive (manyyy other girls think so including me ofc) but in my opinion i’m just not attractive. i’m pretty chubby and tall and just feel unattractive. but him on the other hand he’s got curly hair, wide shoulders, pretty tall (i’m guessing 5’10) So in a way what should I do, should i talk to him or just let it be?
