Guidance for step 1

I am a 3rd yr medical student (started a week ago) and i m preparing for usmle step 1 i plan to appear for it at the end of my 3 rd year and was looking into preparation…but there is a lot of thing so if someone can help me through would be really nice..

1. I m doing this alone like i have no seniors (first batch of my college) and no classmates currently planning on appearing…so i m alone
2. I have no research experience and the whole elective thing personal statement…this scares me coz i have no idea on how to work on cvv
3. Should i even worry abt my cvv right now or just focus on getting through step 1?
4. Speaking abt step 1 i plan to do 4 month of pre dedicated period like each month revise one major subject for whole month (path-physio-pharma-biochem/micro) and then do dedicate prep for 5-6 month including all the nbmes and stuff ( i don’t know a lot abt tht yet)
5. Also there r lots of resources people suggest but so can someone guide me how to process (What i know is: pathoma lecture for pathology/ kaplan for pharma sketchy for micro and bnb for physio (i tried sketchy but don’t think thts my thing) so these r sources i know for now but i don’t know how to integrate it all together with first aid)
6. Lastly is study partner needed? As i have no help n its really difficult processing alone and am scared so i dont know how to find a stufy partner..! Pls it will really mean a lot!!! Thank you so muchhh!!
