Why are flies bothering me?

For some reason, my house is full of flies. I have tried everything to get rid of them but they won't stop showing up. I can not figure out where they are coming from. They have no where to even lay eggs nor do I ever find maggots anywhere ever.

The main issue is that they target me and I want to know WHY. They kamakaze into my hair and try to like, burrow in, they buzz around my head no matter what room I am in and just generally bother only me out of the 3 other people in my home.

I try to chalk it up as just some mundane issue but today, my partner witnessed the harassment and thinks that maybe something more is going on. As I tried to sleep, a fly just kept hovering up and down the length of my body for an hour or more, often landing by my head. Partner was directly next to me but they never bother him or anyone else in my house like they seem to bother me.

Please, does anyone have any ideas as to wtf could be going on? This has been going on for months. It gets so bad some days that I have to leave the house or I'll lose my shit.

On a side note, about 7 years ago I woke up mutiple days in a row to maggots covering my bedroom floor. Removed everything from the room and I could not find a source. I never even had food in that room.
