Overloaded and losing my cool
I'm overloaded at my job as a 2nd year accountant. CPA.
I am paid well for only having 2 years under my belt - 65k yr 1 / 78k bump at 1 yr review / 100k at 1.5 years because they let someone go and weren't rehiring them, and I was overloaded and they could tell something was off. I would have absolutely left by now if they hadn't given me that early 3rd raise.
I know I'm only 2 years in and get paid well for that level of experience, but I pick up VERY fast and am a hardcore problem solver, researcher, excellent with Excel & writing etc.
I got the second raise about 5 months ago. I'm just absolutely overloaded and lost my cool SLIGHTLY with a coworker but they are bureaucratic and I'm concerned how this will go. Even $100k is not worth the stress I feel, and I'm worried losing my cool will get flipped on me.
I'm constantly treading water between getting more work, being a fast learner, but still being a little inexperienced.
The partner and owner have been good to me because of my level of work, but a lot of my coworkers are rough because I came in and they sensed that I'm smart. I'm a nice person, but I am so exhausted by how I've been treated. Some of it has been pretty bad.
I also gained 18 lbs over the past 2 years with the stress.
I'm embarrassed how I'm handling this, that it's too much, and if I go to them and tell them I'm overloaded.
Just looking for some support. I know a lot of people feel the same in this occupation.
