Can I wear white nail polish after Labor Day?

I really like the look of wearing white nail polish from this summer. My question is are the rules for nail polish the same as fashion. I know that fashion rules have loosened a bit. For example, I like the look of this navy skirt and my white nail polish in the early fall. Is this ok in the fashion world, or do I need to switch to another color? Thanks.
