I want to sell an iPhone on eBay, but I live in Alaska.
I want to sell a refurbished iPhone on eBay, but I live in Alaska. That means outgoing mail will probably end up on an airplane (although if I send it Ground Advantage, it may end up on a barge...and then it could take long enough I'll probably get hit with an Item Not Received case), and I don't know if there's any way I can guarantee it won't. I've tried to figure out whether phone batteries are okay to mail when they're sealed inside phones, but to be honest I've had a really hard time fully understanding the regulations, and I've found different answers from people trying to explain them.
My seller location is preset, but as far as I can tell, eBay will let me list it like normal and even offer it to international buyers, so I don't think I can base what I should do or what I'm actually allowed to do on what eBay will let me do.
So does anyone know if it's okay to mail an iPhone when the mail is likely to go by air?
Cross-posting this in a few different places for higher chances of getting an answer.
