Has Anyone Attempted Replacing Cells Inside Their E-Bike Battery?

I'm preparing for the worst with my Aipas M2 Pro after finding out they falsely advertised Samsung 21700 cells but actually shipped with EVE 18650s and wanted to see what a battery rebuild looks like from anyone with experience on the matter. I'm an engineer by trade and have rebuild many things but batteries, to be frank, scare me a little (especially with these non UL Certified batteries - see UL Solutions case against Aipas for false claims). I'm confident I could pull off a rebuild but wanted to see what the community has done first.
