34 F - asymptomatic lesion on fundus

NSFWOther

Hey!

Back again. 34F, Caucasian, blue eyes.

Incidental finding on eye test of hypo-pigmented (yellow/orange) lesion on fundus, temporal to macula (RE).

Attending eye clinic, had OCT, BScan and review. 2 doctors unsure as to diagnosis.

Slightly raised lesion, measures (roughly) 7mm x 2-3mm. Yellow/pale orange in colour. Some slight calcification on BScan (calcification wasn't solid, like a curved V shape), with a spike (not huge, maybe an inch in height? A little less perhaps) on A scan.

I was told "soft tissue mass, probably benign" But both doctors stressed they had not seen a lesion similar previously.

Potential differential diagnosis?

I am waiting further review by consultant, waiting time is "weeks'.

Looking forward to hearing thoughts! TIA
