danger zone date set

I have a hamilton khaki field auto and the time was 12:01 am and the date had just changed however the date was wrong so i went into quick date set to change it and i rotated the crown half way and saw the date rotate half way then I remembered your not supposed to do that so i immediately rotated it back, what do you guys think likely happened
