Any success in curing the underlying issue of apnea?

I have a very narrow upper jaw which is causing a crossbite. I’m getting a MARPE expander to fix the bite issue but my ortho said a lot of the time this treatment can also help with nasal breathing and apnea as it expands your nasal cavity.

I’ve been on CPAP for a little over a month and not really seeing any results yet.
