Swordheart- should I shelve it?

I'm about a quarter of the way through Swordheart by T. Kingfisher. I'm so bored and also slightly irked. The minute I start warming up to the book, the MC she does something dumb that annoys me all over again.

This is surprising to me because I read two other T. Kingfisher books immediately prior to this one and absolutely loved them (The Twisted Ones and Nettle & Bone).

I'm normally not one to not finish a book... so I'm here wondering if anyone that has read the book could give me some feedback if I should keep going or give up?
