Thoughts on apartments with radiator heat
I'm going to be moving soon and I'm looking for a new apartment. Lots of the apartments in my price range are in old buildings with radiator heat.
A close friend (who doesn't have POTS but knows me well) is recommending that I avoid living anywhere with radiators because they make the place very warm and it's hard to control the level of heat. I'm very sensitive to temperature change in both directions.
So I'm curious to hear from people with POTS and heat sensitivity...what do you think about radiator heat? Is it too hot? Would you avoid an otherwise good apartment because of it?
My thinking is that I could always open the windows if it gets too hot (I know it's a waste of energy, but better than feeling faint).
