Looking for residency/accelerator to find biotech co-founder (AI + drug discovery)
Hi everyone,
I have a PhD in biotech/biology and currently work full-time in the life sciences space. Alongside my scientific background, I’ve built business experience by starting a few side hustles and small ventures over the years, so I’m comfortable with the entrepreneurial side as well.
Now I’m ready to go full-time into entrepreneurship. I’m exploring two startup directions: 1. AI SaaS tool for life sciences/CROs – I’ve already built an MVP using no-code tools and have some early validation. 2. AI-based drug discovery platform – focused on generative AI for small-molecule and peptide discovery. This one is still idea-stage, though I’ve been experimenting with public datasets to prototype basic workflows.
My priority right now is the AI biotech/drug discovery space, and I’m looking for a technical co-founder (computational biology, AI/ML, cheminformatics, etc.).
To make this happen, I’m applying to pre-seed residencies/accelerators where: • They bring together ambitious founders, • Help you find the right co-founder, • Support you while you develop your idea, • And after 2–3 months, invest pre-seed funding so you can go full-time.
I’ve already applied to: • Entrepreneur First (EF) • Antler
I’m looking for similar programs to apply to next. Does anyone know of other good biotech or deep tech founder-matching accelerators in the U.S. or globally that would be a fit for someone like me?

TL;DR: Biotech PhD with business experience. Have two startup concepts (AI SaaS for CROs with MVP, and AI-based drug discovery at idea stage). Looking for a technical co-founder and applying to founder-matching accelerators that invest at the end. Already applied to EF and Antler — what other programs should I look at?
