Cat inflicted wounds on beardie

I left the house today to visit my sister, and when I came back I found that my cat had somehow broken into my bearded dragon enclosure and roughed him up. My beardie is roughly ten and underweight (rescue case), but otherwise fairly healthy. He has a wound behind his right eye, a wound on his left upper lip, and his tail has definitely been chewed on. Both wounds are fairly small, but appear deep. His eye seems ok, if swollen, and I gently cleaned him up in warm water. I plan to apply antiseptic twice a day until he’s better, but is there anything else I should be doing (other than engineering a cat proof enclosure for him)?
