Face Scan in NBA 2K26 is Completely Broken – Disconnects & Doesn’t Register

Hey everyone,

Is anyone else having major problems with the Face Scan in NBA 2K26?

• The scans don’t register correctly when transferred into the game.
• The quality control inside the app doesn’t seem to mean anything — it approves the scan, but once in the game it doesn’t work.
• The scanner disconnects way too often from my face, making me restart the whole process over and over.

It’s honestly super disappointing. Why even have a “quality control” step in the app if the game won’t actually use or accept the scan? At this point the feature feels completely broken and unusable.

Is anyone else running into the same issues, and has anyone found a workaround?
