Mythos of Mystery novels!

Hello! So I have a player at my table who wants their mythos to be like mystery novels like as a concept and I really like that idea!! And I want to help them think of tags and abilities but I am super stumped on what to suggest? It's a great concept I just don't know what to offer as mythos powers. Opened to any and all suggestions!!
